The De Redin Coastal Towers

These towers were built over a span of sixty years. Some of these towers had a squarish shape and were located at bays to prevent enemy troops from landing easily on the island.

There were subsequently 13 other smaller towers constructed as watch towers along the coast of Malta. These towers still dominate parts of our uninhabited coastline.
