Global Warming

Global warming – the increase in surface sea temperatures is resulting in the decline in planktonic populations, which in turn has effects on many other marine animals. In addition, marine organisms are more vulnerable to infection by pathogens (organisms, such as viruses, which cause diseases in other organisms) under higher temperatures.
