Youth Authors sought for Conservation Book

The Search is On! Looking for Authors!

COMPOSITIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL BOOK SERIES, YOUTH VOICES.

We are looking for students, young scientists, governmental, organizational and other youth contributors to submit chapters about their conservation activities.

The Intent of the Youth Voices Campaign is to create compelling models for students by youth involvement in the ecological and conservation initiatives. The goal is to foster student reader’s participation in environmental protection and learning.

The book series will focus on students’ conservation projects and the project’s impacts upon their local ecosystem. Pictures and graphics will be used to tell the story of problem identification and solution orientation. An educator centered text that provides workbook sheets, pre- and post- tests, lesson plans and other teacher-based tools for teaching from student voices is envisioned.
