SUBMISSION OF ARTWORKS

Participants are expected to develop their artwork on one of the following seven themes related to the sea and its various natural and cultural aspects:

Artworks can be prepared using different drawings/painting media, and submitted in various formats with a range of sizes from A5 up to A3. Electronic versions should be submitted in .jpg or .tiff format, preferably with 300 dpi resolution.

All types of artworks are considered on an equal basis, including pencil/crayon drawings, oil/water colour paintings and electronic designs. Assessment will be mainly on the basis of presentation and style, originality and artistic expression, skill in design and colouring, and other relevant criteria.

The deadline for submission of the artworks is the 31 st July 2006.

Each submission should be accompanied by a registration form with details on the author, title and short description of the artwork, and affiliation or school.
